EFFECTS OF GOOGLE GLASS:

Google Glass Concept Theme [6]
Ø Glass replaces Cell phones

Glass can’t do much on its own yet, it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but it lacks any sort of phone connectivity. As a result, user can use glass at home like a Wi-Fi-bound hermit-but if we want to use it while out, we must tether the hardware to phone.

Ø Glass shoves distractions on face

Wearing glass is not as distracting as you would think, the glass prism sits outside our normal line of vision, and we can’t see it unless our focus on it. Since everyone’s head is different, Glass has to be filled according to face just as regular glasses do to prevent the screen from hovering directly over our eyeball.

Ø Glass users are constantly monitoring you

The one question that will keep coming to people when they would see someone wearing Glass is whether they are using it to record what they’re doing. Their concerns aren’t unfounded, anyone can take photos discreetly of their co-workers without their being aware. As more Glass units make their way into the wild, it would not be overly paranoid to keep an eye on the guy with the $1500 titanium headgear.

Secretly recording videos with Glass is a bit more difficult than using the device to discreetly snap a few photos. While recording a video using Glass, the glass prism on the front of the device lights up brighter than normal. The person doing the recording also has to look right at the subject in order to record what it’s doing. [3]
